I’ve been using it for the last month. It was shared on a FB group so there would most likely be a fair few using it across the country. Who knows how long it will last. Had to share with the cheapies community though! Enjoy!

Strange. I have tested combinations of hamburgini/combustion tofu, alongside kumara fries/chicken fenders+3 and it all seems to work for me. Must be a glitch on my end. Sorry for misleading!

Folks, let's not push our luck, and we have to be fair to the business as well. It is one thing for a code to be used multiple times, but they will get pissed very quickly if someone turns up for a free side and nothing else. If we restrict the use to a large burger purchase, they are more likely to close an eye.

Ordered the free sides at 10 and went to the Queen St branch at 10:30. Were told they have received hundreds of orders this morning and the code was illegit. So I didn't get the sides.
The staff checked my email and pointed at the "Total: $0.00" and said that. So I assume purchasing sides with something else and getting the discounts by using this code would be acceptable.
It's a bit funny and sad that so many people apparently use cheapies but that just a (relatively) small group actually are (active) members.

I'm fairly sure there is a compounding effect too though. People who see it here, active or not share it with their friends and family, or on Facebook groups etc. In a case like this no reason to share the link, just the code and details.
Sorry forgot to say but even if they share the link, many recipients will just treat it like a website that has a code. Technically they may be using Cheapies but they're not really users let alone active members. A small number may check out the websites themselves occasionally (whether they've heard of it before or not) but I'm sure many won't.

I didn't bother going at 11:30, if they were to honour it, I would have got a call by now to come pickup

Hopefully they keep the code but allow it with a purchase of a burger, would be keen to get a burger with free tenders later in the week.

Yes. Got quizzed by the manager or owner regarding how I received the code. Talked my way through it and received the food in the end. Not ideal, was a bit of a hassle.

Nope, just said it was emailed to me. I believe head office has been freaking out a bit judging by the comments staff were making. They’re aware other stores have been flooded with orders. Takapuna has been pretty good about it I heard, no questions asked etc.
I picked up an order made at 10am at 1230pm at the Ponsonby store. It was just for tenders but I felt guilty so brought a burger when I was there. No one seemed to mind I got free tendies
So just got a call, they said they'll honour the deal if you purchase a large burger to go with it
just need to place an order online and then call them up to advised to put the two orders together
