  • This is the previous version correct?

    • This is the only version of this model.

      • I did some googling, this is the old model, the newer one is now called Nest Audio
        Google home mini -> Nest mini
        Google home -> Nest audio

        Yes it's a good price and still supported, consider google mini is just about 10 bucks cheaper.

        • What I meant was they didn't upgrade this version and the nest mini is not a replacement. They now have Google nest audio speakers as a sort of replacement. The JBL link music is a better comparison, and it is a superior speaker at around $69 on 1 day. The JBL link runs air play on the iPhone or iPad instead of Bluetooth but can-do Bluetooth on android or Google cast on both.

  • You can get the Google Nest Mini (the newer version for like $30~$40, which is probably a better choice.

      This isn't the mini it's the full Google home which has a better speaker inside. If you want to use it for music this will sound better than the mini series do. I think I would favour the new hardware over the refurb though as I am starting to experience issues with my first gen Google home minis.

  • Bro should I upgrade this from My two year old Google home mini? I need some expert opinion guys

      These sound so much better than the minis. I have the home mini and newer nest mini, and the home beats both of in terms of stability (not disconnecting from wifi) and sound.

      • I picked up since micro usb ethernet adapters for my minis and not had any disconnection issues since. Well worth the few bucks on Ali express of cabling them in is an option for you.

      It's louder and bassier, but the treble isn't as good. You can pair your existing mini and this home as one speaker though - I have a bunch of these homes as well as both generations of the minis. This home has got a bigger speaker, and is a lot more bassy than the minis due to that, but I find it's also slightly more muffled-sounding than them. I have linked one up with a pair of minis, with the minis acting as speakers and the home acting as a subwoofer, and google sees them all as one speaker set. (I generally bought them all at the introductory 2 for 1 pricing they used).

      Sound quality is way better than the new gen nest speakers (except the max hub).

  • Lol “Faint marks on the Screen” it says

    • Lol i hope that doesn't mean screenburn.
