  • great find!! Always good to grab some Sistema storage for half price :)

  • For Sistema you can price beat with Spotlight and Briscoes for an even larger (10%) discount!

  • Wonder what happens with their price promise if you aren't a member? Eg for the sunbeam pie maker. If they say you aren't a member and have to pay $159 can you say well can you beat Noel's price by 15%?

  • Thanks. As much as I hate buying plastic the sistema stuff is just too useful.

    • I don't see it as a throwaway plastic item like other things like straws etc. so in my mind it's not too bad.
Plastic is very useful when you can use it for many many years.

      • Agree. I've had some of mine for almost ten years

Their product is decent but the huge environmental cost of plastics (even "sturdy" ones) is a turn off. Only buy what you need.

Hi all Chepaies mates, just wanted to let know you that all Sistema products are not New Zealand made. Recently I bought two Stainless Steel bottles priced $21.99 each, of Sistema. But they are China made. So be careful buying Sistema henceforth. I use to trust this brand as it was New Zealand made. But now I don't. Thanks anyways to all the mates here as you guys also keep posting important information you have.

    • Yep, Sistema was sold to a US company around five years ago, so you will see further degradation of the brand as time goes on. The majority of stainless bottles you see here will be Chinese-made. If you have a look through here, I'm sure you'll recognise some of them. It's just the unfortunate reality of manufacturing today.
