  It will fit but Most likely will not be compatible as the speed of the nvme drive needs to be as fast as or exceed the speed of the internal drive of the ps5. Sony hasn't released any official compatibility list but are rumored to make this feature available somewhere mid year. Others online are expecting the 980 pro will be compatible but I wouldn't recommend anything until we get an official list.
  
  this would be good for an external drive if you put it in an enclosure for your ps4 games using backwards compatibility.

  Sony will likely whitelist certain models they approve and nothing else for quality control so don't buy an SSD betting on it.
