Also they have a price guarantee so if you buy one now or for anyone else who brought one recently go back and let them know. You might get refund for the difference.Smiths City only have display models left in a couple of branches in the South Island. Noel Leeming are selling them for the same price. There's no info online that I could fine but you can pre order in store. The January units arriving are already sold but there are more arriving Feb & March for those happy to wait.
I also tried 2 branches of Harvey Norman who had stock but both were unwilling to price match. Pricks.
I cancelled one ordered from noel leeming just now. I'll wait for next year model which probably has better peak brightness etc or samsung quantum mini led one
Got one from Harvey Norman for $3700 (negotiated) on the 26th. None in stock. With Harvey I have often put down 20% and if it falls below this price they will give it to me for the lower price anytime prior to picking it up when it arrives back in stock.
What ETA did they give you for stock?
They said around late Jan, however I'm not in a rush as I'll be waiting until my house reno is completed to pick it up in March. That was also on the 26th so I would expect its later now.
Just installed one for mum and the factory Interface was such a POS joke that I got her a chromecast with google tv just to never have to deal with that again. I do like the mouse remote though. The sound is terrible so factor in a sound bar.
