Photo of wanting to try price match at mitre10 for extra 15% off

    http://iforce.co.nz/i/tvp30neb.ga2.jpg

M10 might not have stock though

    https://www.mitre10.co.nz/shop/makita-18-inch-alloy-deck-pet…

  • Bluetooth noise cancelling earmuffs?!

  • In contrary to what Mitre10 website says. I believe this model is a steel deck, not alloy deck.

    • Which is good or bad?

      • Steel is rust prone if not maintained by cleaning and drying regularly. Alloy won't rust. Cheaper mowers will be steel deck. Expensive mowers will usually be alloy.

        • Like cast aluminium etc vs thin pressed steel?

      • Kinda bad if you don't remove any wet grass clippings after you mow the lawn. In my use case a good alloy deck will last forever, and possibly outlast the engine.

    • Makita website doesn't say whether it is or isn't, but it does say it is discontinued, so must be running em out

  • bugger was hoping it was electric
