  In contrary to what Mitre10 website says. I believe this model is a steel deck, not alloy deck.

      Steel is rust prone if not maintained by cleaning and drying regularly. Alloy won't rust. Cheaper mowers will be steel deck. Expensive mowers will usually be alloy.

      Kinda bad if you don't remove any wet grass clippings after you mow the lawn. In my use case a good alloy deck will last forever, and possibly outlast the engine.
