  • Wow such a long description

  • Air Asia doesn't fly NZ anymore does it?

    • +1

No, I'm not sure I get the relevance of this to kiwis.

      • +1

It's definitely still a good deal! If you have a flexible lifestyle, and you can make your own way to Aus, it looks pretty awesome!

      • +1

It's for kiwis that don't mind going to Aus first. Perfect if you have rellies over there - an excuse to see them.

  • It's a good deal for the one person it's relevant to, but man is that an awful title and description. My guess of what it was based on the product name was correct, but the rest was a mess that didn't verify it in the slightest.

  • +1

Has anyone actually purchased it? There are reports on the AirAsia FB page of next to no flights available under the deal…

  • If you read through all the long paragraphs of their terms and conditions, it seems like its a dodgy as deal and a possible cash grab for them to just boost their profit during a period of declining airline profits caused by the coronavirus.

"AirAsia reserves the right at its absolute discretion to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions and/or withdraw the AirAsia Unlimited Pass, or substitute or replace the AirAsia Unlimited Pass with another product or program of equivalent value from time to time without any prior notice."

There are also other terms such as specific flights starting with XXX designations, seats subject to availability etc.
Chances are it would be super rough grabbing yourself a seat if a load of people are jumping onto this deal. I am assuming the seat availability are also similar to those who actually work in the airline business where you can get discounted flights only if the flight has a spare seat that was not purchased by a consumer.

Seems like a great deal if there are actually a lot of available seats/flights but people really need to consider a business does not exist to make a Loss.

    • They are on the watchlist of airlines which have very poor cashflow and might not survive if the Coronovirus hits to hard. But on the other hand its $200 - one trip and you will be in the black most likely.

      • The flight is included but taxes and airport surcharge can be costly as well

Sounds like a quick way to catch Corona virus
