Cheap 1440p Ultrawide on sale tomorrow from PB Tech. Reviews are mixed, apparently is good value for money but also has some issues. A newer model has since been released with 144hz.

    Just be careful about poor quality control on these, and make sure you understand where you stand if there are dead pixels ect.

        I know the feeling. The shipping and CC fee (totalling ~$20) put me off buying the stuff I was interested in. After that, I'd only be saving a couple of dollars off yesterday's price.

    If you are fine with 16:9 monitor the AOC CQ27G2 27" - $483 is a very well reviewd feature packed monitor (2150 x 1440, 144Hz, 1ms response, Freesync/G-Sync Compatible certified, Curved, VA panel, HDR) with I would presume better quality control and warranty.
