Free: DiRT Rally from Steam

110

Free to keep when you add it to your Steam account before Tuesday 4 AM NZST.

About DiRT Rally:

DiRT Rally is the most authentic and thrilling rally game ever made, road-tested over 80 million miles by the DiRT community. It perfectly captures that white knuckle feeling of racing on the edge as you hurtle along dangerous roads at breakneck speed, knowing that one crash could irreparably harm your stage time.
DiRT Rally also includes officially licensed World Rallycross content, allowing you to experience the breathless, high-speed thrills of some of the world’s fastest off-road cars as you trade paint with other drivers at some of the series’ best-loved circuits, in both singleplayer and high-intensity multiplayer races.

Note: Games granted during free-to-keep promotions on the Strem store do not drop trading cards.

I'm in one of those weird Steam situations where it's in my library, but it's not in my game list and it won't actually install. Last time this happened was a few years ago.

    • Maybe …

Most of my games appear but some are missing
Sometimes Steam will appear to be functioning correctly, except certain games will be missing from your list. If you are absolutely sure that you are logged in to the correct Steam account, then the issue is most likely that your filter is set incorrectly. Please log in to your Steam account using the Steam client and ensure that all games are visible by clicking Library > Games.
Select Games in your Library to clear all filters

Another possibility is that some ports are being blocked by your firewall and/or router. Since Steam cannot connect on all of the ports it uses, it may run into a problem verifying one of your games. To see the list of ports and to make sure that all of the ports for Steam are open, please follow this guide.

      Steam FAQ

Possibly it's a bug or just a busy server issue. There's no solution yet, but you might also want to keep an eye on these three new Steam discussions:

      • I'm confident that it's something specific to this game at Steam's end, and like last time it'll be fine in 24-48hrs.

        • …confirming: now it's all good.

  • I'm having the same problem, hopefully it gets sorted soon because I really wanted to try this game in VR

  • it has showed up now in account
