    nah mate, these are awesome SSDs , not as fast as the 9xx evos from samsung but honestly its negligible in day to day use.

      This is correct, the BX500 are ones you are probably thinking about that are slow; the MX500 are very good for their price.

    Even the cheaper SSDs are pretty good these days - the controllers have come a long way.
