Ive got BT version and the range is quite short :(Agreed. The bluetooth on my old one was just hopeless. Range issues and just plain not working sometimes issues.
Shipping to NZ between 29 and 35 bucks, defeats the value of the sale price. Any work around for this?
Nope, unless you have it shipped over to one of those free shipping countries (Australia) and have someone bring it over for you when they visit New Zealand.
The box is pretty big so if they had to ship it to you through Auspost, itd cost them 35AUD+ easily.
I paid around $116NZD including shipping for the bluetooth version in August last year. Back then the wifi was a lot more pricier than the bluetooth version but at a $10 difference the wifi version would be the one you should buy. Its worth the extra $10 here.
