  The dyson v6 only last 6min on max setting and takes hours to charge. Bought from noel leeming earlier in the year. Might have to do a battery mod etc otherwise its really useless.

    Also FYI the normal mode lasts 20minutes, and is already more powerful than most vacuum cleaners that I've used.

    The main selling point (of any cordless vacuums) is that it turns a big chore into a quick and easy one. One of the best purchases I've made.

      Ymmv coming from a corded Dyson but i found the normal setting adequate for slightly thicker carpet. Id go with a v8 at least if its not too much more expensive.

        i have both a corded and cordless dyson at home the cordless is for your everyday use and i only bring out the corded upright dyson once every few weeks when going though the entire house.

        You are right about the v8 price it's way too expensive. they are going down the same route with apple.

    i bought my v6 animal 4 years ago and it's still going strong. the max mode is only meant for temporary use.

      They had no stock after the sale started and it was the black ones that were on sale.
