Are these annual showground sales worth it?

    • Yep, there was some really good deals last year

I found there was a lot of good deals on the smaller appliances, as these traditionally have higher margins than the big ticket items. It's definitely worth a look, anyway, just try to go early before it gets too busy.

I bought fridge and washing machine last year there. Price is cheap but not that super cheap. you could get that similar price during other sale event.
      Just for my case.

  • I heard on the radio that Harvey Norman is having something similar, starting tomorrow? Anyone knows anything about it?

    • they will do the same to match, Harvey Norman, JB-HIFI,PB TECH, Dick smith

i got some bad news for you man… :(

  • Did this years ago. Stock limited and will sell out so good luck

  • Any of this hot matching activity in Wellington? :D

    • Same question for Christchurch… :)

  • If there is a bargain you must have then show up early but if you just want to browse I suggest going in the evening (it is open until 9pm) and avoiding all the crowds.

  • If anyone sees any good deals can they post here, so I can convince family to go check/get it (I live in welly)

  • Not available any where else in nz

  • What are people planning on getting? Nothing is standing out as particularly cheap…unless it's an awesome branded kettle or something

Looks so boring. Nothing is actually cheap.

I just won a $250 voucher while lining up

    • +1

      not so boring after all!

  • If anybody there spots some great deals on a 8kg + front loading washing machine, a condenser dryer, or a home theatre amp/receiver please post. Thanks.

I went and it's pretty busy since it's school holiday. Pretty normal deals I guess, have taken some photos of what I thought was good (AFAIK) if you want to browse from your screen. Didn't take any of the furniture section, and the 1day stall is pretty much just what's on their website (except you dont have to pay shipping lol)

BTW There's three parts I uploaded. Obviously a lot more things on sale but those were the ones that caught my eye (or at least what's on my shopping list atm!).

      • Thanks man. Great to see actual pics rather than waste time going there and potentially being disappointed.

    • Awesome work, Thanks! Part 2 not working btw

    • Damn, can we nominate this post for the deal of the month award?

      • Ha thanks, just posted a deal by itself with a little more info which might be more obvious for people interested :)

  • Any deals on dyson stick vacs?
