If you make a couple big orders and they come through customs on the same day by chance, don't you risk getting stung for GST? It happened to my sister once before, they accused you of splitting the order to avoid GST, and send you the bill as they add the two (but it was not amazon purchase). Does this not matter with buying from Amazon?
yup this can happen, dsnt even need to arrive same day, just ordered same day
They are within their right to do that, Once had 4 orders that they done this too. Sent them bank statement showing 4 purchases all same day but separate. They let them all through.
In theory it can happen. Even orders made on the same day but received different days. I guess customs aren't going to release internal policies on this though :)
Yes, there are still some products with free shipping but they have greatly reduced the qualifying items.

Ordered 5 things, 2 have shipped separately, still waiting on the other 3. Would've thought they would have combined shipping at least for each order that I had placed. (placed two orders)
I would mark this as expired. Does not appear to be working anymore. I had 10 items in my cart (all small in size) now none of them are showing as free shipping. And that is with different combinations over $100

Bug as in it should be working right now but is not. They provided no time commitment to fix it - but they did offer me a shipping refund if I placed an order
@stuntah: Lol I also talked to 2 supports and they both said different things. One told me that it is only for the items on that list so everything else is not valid for free shipping. The 2nd support told me they would waive my fees after i place the order but the shipping was too much so they cancelled the order. When I asked them why it was free shipping before, they just told me it is one free shipping for each account and since I made an order before already, I cannot get free shipping anymore.
I know all the responses they gave me were probably just things they made up on the spot as the previous free shipping for all amazon items was most likely an error and i doubt it would be back anymore.
