  • bummer I bought a 32GB version of this one for the same price a couple of weeks back at PBtech. It says 'at supplier' lets hope they don't do what they did with the smart LED bulbs.

  • It's probably not an error, they have been this cheap before on boxing day. Is there a shipping cost? Can't check atm as on pH and being antisocial

    • Shipping close to $4

    • are you sure it was the 64gb? , again i dont recall this been that cheap before

      • Yea, Ive never seen 64gb samsungs at this price before in NZ. The closest you get even from gearbest, aliexpress was usually atleast $25. At this price, I'd take it just to have the warranty.

  • The price is good but the quality isn't as reliable as SanDisk. This is from personal experience where my card bought from Singapore turned bad within few months

    • i had a card from singapore once it turned out to be a fake. H2testw is a nice tool for testing them when they arrive.

      • +1

thanks for the tip, i've been avoiding buying these from ebay etc as i know there is many fakes out there.

    • Yeah I've had about 5 Samsung Micro SDs running on Raspberry Pi web servers for roughly 2 years without a problem. I'd say you got a fake.

  • Good find. Probably not a pricing error. PB Tech had 128GB Samsung Evo for $44 a few months ago.

    • really? i've been watching prices for these i have never seen that cheap! damn why did nobody post!

      • It was posted on CC, see https://www.cheapies.nz/node/13713 You even posted in that thread :)

        • Yeah those were $56.93 for the 128gb not $44.
I know as I have the invoice from that sale.
Probably why there is no mention of a 128gb for $44 in the post you are linking to.

        • @nachos: Yes, you are right, it seems something here on CC had 128GB, cost $44 and that was stuck at the back of my mind.

        • @Paul: no worries, I'm just glad i didn't miss out on a better deal!

        • @nachos:
          I knew I didn't just dream about 128GB for $44 at PBTech https://www.cheapies.nz/node/9118
Not an SDXC card, though. Memory does fun things sometimes… :)

  • Seems like they fixed the price error?

    • either that or the sale ended really fast!
yup hope someone bought one and they honour the price.

  • Saw it this morning they had 3 in stock, by 2pm there was only 1 left.

    They cancelled my order…

  • pathetic once again from Computer lounge. They even offered me a 32GB card at a HIGHER price!

    Thank you for your order,

As you may already be aware, the Samsung EVO Plus MicroSDXC UHS-I Card with Adaptor 64GB that you ordered is being advertised as "at supplier".

In this particular case, as this was a while stocks last sale we will not be ordering in any further SD cards at the sale price.

If you'd be happy to take the following alternative, at the discounted price of $24.95, I can ensure that your order is processed and dispatched as soon as possible:

    https://www.computerlounge.co.nz/components/componentview.as…

Otherwise, if this does not interest you I can cancel your order and arrange a full refund for you.

    Regards,

    • sorry to hear Kendo, i wanted to believe the price was real!
wonder if anyone actually got one?

Same here. They charged CC, then cancelled the order. Not cool. And that "offer" is just pathetic.
