  • nice, bought it last time it was on sale in April, was $89 then

  • ^How's the performance of the drive in terms of transferring of file from source to destination?

Application? from toshiba is it.? What's the original price of this item? I'm quite hesistant to pull the trigger. Thanks mate.. :-)

    • performance wise it is pretty average, and the app is hard to navigate but i got it as a portable backup for photos as it can backup sd cards direct so better for a travel backup than a daily use storage imo

  • +2

I have two of these. The wireless transfer speed is a bit of a joke. Only really useful for smaller files. Also, there's no security (password protection) for the wifi, so be careful when turning that function on.

I bought it in the hope that I could use it as an wireless portable media device and a SD card reader, but neither function as I intended.

Primarly only useful for photographers who want to back up their files on the go.

  • Web page seems broken.

  • Let's talk SD card please.

What is this function and can it work standalone (ie travelling without a PC?)

    • yes it can, you can backup SD and your phone(if you manage get application to work)

  • bought when it was 89. terrible software. Performance on mac is very poor(come with free Tuxera drivers). Hope someone will hack firmware

  • They are not honouring their sale. Just got email that they are depositing back my money.
