Hi there, yes there is also an Elite Version Code if you wish to purchase it for a cheaper price, the code that is emailed to you is only for the essential version. There is however, a trial version of elite for 31 days which you may choose if you wish, then activate later with provided code in email.
FYI - this is like Lightroom, for photographers who shoot in RAW format (if neither 'Lightroom' or 'RAW' are meaningful to you, you don't need this software).
Yes, you are correct. This is an alternative to lightroom and would be heavily beneficial for users that shoot in raw like myself and is a bit easier than lightroom.
