I have these headphones and they're great. In my limited research about how they compare to the equivalent Bose product, I concluded that these are better (but it probably comes down to personal preference). The touch panel on the right ear cup is sweet (eg, double tap to invert noise reduction and amplify your surroundings to hear boarding calls).

I got mine for about $300NZ while I was visiting Australia using an Aus deal and GST refund at the airport, but $364 is a great price.

    • Hey Beckett thanks for sharing your findings on these.
Whats the comfort level like, can you wear these for an hour without pinching or ears getting sweaty. And comparing to what seems to be the market leader in noise cancelling how are they on that front?
Have you had a chance to try out the QC35 or Sony MDR 1000, would you still take these on comparison?

tbh…The bose, sony and sennheiser gets compared very often. When you go read reviews on amazon or something, the choice that people decided are all very mixed. What I found is that the best is to try these on yourself, it is usually the best determining factor. Everyone has different preferences, and also the fit is really important. Some are heavier than others and the extra weight may make it uncomfortable for some people and also if the earcups dont get a good seal on you, the sound may not sound as good as another that seals you in perfectly.

        Hi
I can wear these for many hours without discomfort. I think I wore them for most of a recent 10+ hour flight without problems. It's always nice to have occasional breaks though. I once got sore ears less than an hour into a flight but I think I'd extended the earcups too far so the tops of my ears were getting pinched. I haven't had that since.
I haven't tried the Bose or the Sony. I can just say I'm personally happy with the level of noise cancellation on these. But the only others I've tried are ~$200 Sonys, which I thought the NC was fine on. From my vague memories of the limited reading I did before buying, I think some report that Bose may have slightly better NC (not sure though) and I think the Sennheiser has more modern bluetooth than Bose.
I really like the earcup touchpad (tap to pause, swipe forward or backward to change tracks, swipe up & down to adjust volume, double tap to amplify surroundings, etc).

  • Agreed, its all personal preference. Im eager to try these out in store somewhere see what they're like in comparison.
