Just bought one. Useful for connecting older devices like Xbox 360s or smart TVs without wifi to the internet. Definitely pretty cheap

I'm assuming this would cap the speeds at 100mbps? Since its connected to a 10/100 port so 2.4/5ghz wireless will be capped at 100mbps for all ur devices =/

  If your TV has an ethernet port then you can make it go online via a wireless bridge setup. However you're far better off using a chromecast or an android TV box with WiFi.
  
  IMO smart TVs are junk, they're clunky to use and manufacturers stop issuing updates making those smart features useless after a while. With cheap TV boxes you can replace them every year or two.
