Originally I was going to post a deal just for Air Tahiti however while searching I found 2 days of very cheap flights via Air NZ. Screenshot. The next best price for any other day is $800+ with Air NZ.

Bags are an additional $20 each way.

So fly July 19 or July 31 ($199) + return Aug 4 ($250).

Alternatively, Air Tahiti is offering flights for $660 with a bunch of dates between July - September via Scott's Cheap Flights. Use Google Flights to find the cheapest days.

  Unfortunately those flights will be the only thing cheap about visiting Tahiti. Breathtakingly expensive.

    Really? I've never been there, don't plan to, but looking at WikiTravel and AirBnB, it doesn't seem too bad. Maybe expensive compared to SEA countries, but not really compared to Europe, etc.
