  • Went there this morning, exactly 9:05 and over 100 people in the line and apparently 100 inside already. (I'm person 101 + 100 inside)
Only wanted the sandwich press lol.
Got inside all the good deals are gone, they had this weird system in which if you have already gone inside you can go inside again without lining up… boggles my mind… this asian and indian both with friends/family members carrying all the things you listed and went back for more… sonofa..

Anyway I somehow got the sandwich press lol… this granny took this ex-demo one off the shelf and didn't think it was the same one as it still had the original price she put it back BOOOOYYAAA

Ex-demo unit still has the 12m warranty
Suggest you not bother going into the store to see if there are any good deals unless you want the static 25% white-ware discount (lasts till Tuesday i believe)

    • Well that is indeed weird and personally not fair. How would they even know that you were inside before?

Wanted to go there today to check the Dyson and Nespresso deals. How were they? Unfortunately for me, I can't go today because of work but thought of posting so that other people can (that is, if they didn't already know).

    • Thanks for the pertinent feedback
Was planning to go over in the afternoon but since the good deals are gone I won't bother.. saved me a long trip from out west!!!

    • I was there as well, and yes I noticed there were plenty of Asians and Indians, but also a large number of Polynesians (because it is Manukau?), and a fair amount of Pakeha as well. And yet, you failed to mentioned that. So what's your point?

      • I was there too, and the point this person is making is that the Indians and Asians will literally guard the stuff they want in store them while sending family/friends in and out of the store to buy 1 at a time, I didn't see any polys or pakeha doing that, they may have, but I didn't see that behaviour from them.

  • Well, I was disappointed how it the NL stuff handled, basically first 10-20 people took everything described above, I saw mostly Indian people standing next to 8 boxes of slow cooker and another boxes of other stuff mentioned above in the post, I felt disgusted how greedy it was.
They could basically stand next to those 20 boxes and tell you "tips" they are all mine, I am only guarding them for now.
If they would allow to hold only one type of the item at one moment, many other people would be happy as well.
I was standing in the line twenty minutes before opening and there was only Cafe presses left when I got into the shop.

    • Had the same experience at a previous NL clearance event. Couldn't be bothered doing it again knowing you're gonna have to be there HOURS early to get a bargain.
