SimCity 5 is an upcoming city-building / urban planning simulation video game in development by Maxis, a subsidiary of Electronic Arts. It is the sixth major release of the SimCity series. It is set to be officially released on March 5, 2013 in North America and March 8, 2013 in Europe on Microsoft Windows and eventually to OS X.
