Can you beat this deal? (LPG Gas / Power / Internet / Mobile)

Hey

Moving into a new house address is ## Manitoba Place, Kingston, Wellington.

Gas:
We have an external LPG Gas connector for hotwater. Will probably use LPG for cooking when putting in the new kitchen.

Power:
Probably a low user plan. 2 people / Not home during day / No hot water / Heat Pump (no aircon in summer) / insulated (Ceiling + Floor)

Internet:
Currently with bigpipe UFB, but the new address is ADSL/VDSL only. Already have a modem.

Home phone:
We only use mobiles.

Mobile:
Could switch provider, as not on term contracts. Currently $40/mo & $30/mo on 2Degrees plans.

The best deal I can see (below) would be to use trustpower for LPG and power, and then 2degrees for VDSL. Does that sound right. Anyone know any other promos?

    If you are in a contract with big pipe (are they the one that is contract-less?) DO NOT pay the cancellation fee, give them a ring first. Because they cannot provide the service at your new address not only can you cancel the contract (because it'd be unfair to pay for a service they can't provide) but they can't charge you for it (the rep said something like that, although it may just be a spark policy).

    Went from fibre to VDSL at new address, Rang spark, rep was nice, said we didn't have to pay anything (we were still within our contract period by like 13-14 months). Although as I said it may just be a spark policy, but I assume it has something to do with the consumers guarantees act.

    Thanks for the tip. BigPipe is one of the only ISP that doesn't do contracts, so there is no fee to disconnect :D

      there is a promotion running on grabone for Bigpipe. No connection fee and first month free. I work in tech and have connected a few family members up on UFB. A few hiccups at the start but once its up they never had a problem. Customer support is via email though. no phone support

        I've been really happy with bigpipe on ufb, but alas no fibre at new address. I've seen the grab one deal but one month free $89monthly is not competitive with other providers.

    Not quite sure I'd anyone has tried electrickiwi? They say that they are sure that they are definitely cheaper than the others.
