Thinking of getting a controller for my Windows computer. I haven't decided which one yet but probably either one of the new bluetooth Xbox One S ones (reasonably supported in Windows, classic type of controller) or Steam Controller. I'm not completely opposed to Dual Shock 4, but their support in Windows still seem a bit iffy to me. Possibly Steam is going to change that, but hard to be sure it'll really work.
I know you can get the Xbox One S controllers for USD40 on the Microsoft Store but I'm not sure if they'll send to Youshop or what size package they send them in. From PriceSpy I also found https://www.365games.co.uk/payment/1706159752052 which seems to send to NZ for about GBP43 all up i.e. NZD76. But at that price possibly better to get it at EBgames which although about NZD15 more may be worth it for NZ warranty etc https://www.ebgames.co.nz/xbox-one-222061-Xbox-One-S-Wireles…
For Steam Controller they've available on Amazon for about USD35+9 shipping to NZ which seems to be best option since who knows when Steam is going to start selling them to NZ.
Any other suggestions?
I have a ds4 controller and use an xinput wrapper with it, recently played through tomb raider(2013) no probs, just takes a bit of setup initially and for different games. (wouldn't recommend ds4 for someone wants it to work out of the box).
I also use it on a rooted android tablet with excellent results, again with a wrapper.
Cant talk about other controllers sorry! I just dont have the experience, i could never get used of xbox controllers since i've use a ps one since psx.
