    Is it targeted if only people who are eligible to join Airpoints for Business can participate?

      Not really, targeted is more aimed at only people who received a particular email etc. Making it too broad would be an issue, as would a deal that's just for north island be targeted? The simpler the better :)

  Looks like you have to signup to their airpoints business program, as it looks like the pionts are allocated to that. So may not be worth the hassle of joining

    Yes, you have to join or be a member of Airpoints for Business. It took about 10 minutes, maybe less, to join - so at my hourly rate, it was well worth it. YMMV.

  Just noticed this in Sunday's NZ Herald. Either they still haven't reached 500 or they've reset the quota. (URL slightly different but same page).
