Note you can read the NZ Herald E-paper free (pretty much forever) if you go to your library website.

But, how will I start my fire with an E-Paper? ;)

Yes but if you have used a previous code can you use it again? Always good to have more codes available as old ones die.

        • I have…this is the third different code I have used. There is a stand down period of 6 months (I think) prior to your last free sub.

  • Thanks, will give this a go.
    I haven't read a newspaper in years.

Stop, you can get a 5 week trial instead and you can't use multiple codes

      • Where's the negs at on this comments? Come on guys, it has been 8 hours already! /s

    • Can you confirm multiple codes can't be used over a period of time? I can't, but curious to know what response you got after trying.

Looks like it's one trial per 12 months:

The Free Home Delivery Trial is limited to one complimentary subscription to The New Zealand Herald and Herald on Sunday per delivery address per 12-month period and is non-renewable.

Still curious to know what they do when someone tries one code after another, possibly in a different name.

        • I've signed my grandparents up for a trial in the past, just signed up again using my name at their address, will wait and see what happens.

Either way, this deal is staying active. I can add a note to the OP, but it's not a duplicate post.

I have used multiple codes with the same name, email, phone. This is the third free sub - I've always had a long stand down though (at least 6 months, probably more)

      • I'm pretty sure it will allow it more frequently than 12 months, I used one definitely <12 months ago and it let me use this one as well. Maybe it means the same code once every 12 months? Stuntah has said he used three trials with >6 months in between (maybe <12 months?). I would recommend using the 5 week trial first, then try this one, either way it's a good deal (It's free, chuuur)

Since you took it so well I threw a neg on.

In all seriousness tho, sometimes it's the way the comment comes across rather than the fact you were pointing out other codes exist.

  • Bum deal.

Thank you for your interest in a trial subscription to NZ Herald.
It has come to our attention that a number of households have recently received an offer for a free trial subscription in areas that we do not currently service. Please accept our most sincere apologies for this error.
Therefore with regret, we will be unable to process your request for a free trial to the Herald.

Don't deliver to central Chch. What a croc NZHerald. I'd like to take my + back.

    • I'd like to take my + back.

      Revoke it here

      • Thank you.

  • Have a look at Where does the Herald deliver? for delivery areas. There's a link to this under "Find my address" on the registration form.
