      Haha, sorry Teckiwi.
I knew that a new account can get 100EB points. But not sure if it works for items with coupon code.
So thanks for that! Will add the description :)

It does, drops the price to ~$15.30NZD :)

        • +1

          @coolstorybro:

no prob, maybe swap the deal url to the mobile one to make it easier for people to get the 2% off(and it auto discounts the 100 pts/$2 off compared to the desktop site it's manually done)

Real shame that this only had a single output port

    • Yeah, that is a pain. Would have purchased 10 otherwise.

    • +2

      For the price though.

    • +1

Well if you really want dual USB outputs, you can get the Xiaomi 16000mAh for more than double the price of this one ~$35 (assuming on special). For under $16, it's a steal mate!

      • +2

I got the slim one instead. Both are single USB so slim beats fat unless the fat offered 2 ports. Shame because other 10000mAh chargers tend to offer dual ports.

        • +1

          "For the price though."

Sorry I'm just trolling a little

Thanks heaps everyone for posting this. I had been looking for a deal on this model for a while but hadnt seen anything below about 16USD. just ordered one. Forgot to do the checkout in NZD, but not sure if it matters? It processed as $10.63USD so seems fine. Thanks guys!

Should be fine that it was charged in USD can't see any problems.

  • I wonder if this xiaomi is a fake one. It's too cheap. I bought one this afternoon from everbuying. Because there are just soooo many of these fake xiaomi battery in China. Can anyone please confirm this?

    • Even 3 made-in-japan Panasonic 18650 cells cost more than 10 USD. I don't know where xiaomi gets its batteries from… it says Panasonic battery in the description though.

    • +2

I've bought Xiaomi powerbanks from Gearbest and Banggood before and they both appears to be genuine. Can't confirm for everbuying, but judging from the comments from OzBargain, everbuying's Xiaomi goods is legit.

    • +3

dont they come with those security stickers that let you check how many times that serial number has been queried?

    • +2

I bought a 10400 off that site for a bargain and it was real. And yeah 1 port kinda sucks but quality is good, still holds a huge charge, and can leave for months and its still full, unlike some other ones i have that i need to top up each week.

Potential bias, but I have recieved a number of Xiaomi products from Everbuying. Both paid for and review items. No issues at all with the authenticity of the products, just the Xiaomi QA is a bit questionable. My 16000 power banks are still going strong years later though, no complaints at all.

Mines been stuck in customs since Sunday, anyone got theirs yet?

    • +1

Oh I wonder why? I got mine today. Looks like it's genuine too.

      • +2

I'm hoping it's just sitting in a pile of mail, not destroyed for being a battery and all that like they sometimes do. Will see what arrives(if anything does) next week and report back

        • +2

          showed up today :)

  • Haven't got mine yet, hope it's not stuck in customs.

  • +2

    I got mine

    • +1

      Same here, came today.

  • Got mine on Friday. It's soo heavy. And I can't find a case for it. If I drop this thing, it's gonna explode because it's li ion. A case might cost more than the battery pack lol. So I just use the original box as a case for protection, I use the sellotape to wrap around it, so that I can safely carry it with me. I know it's ugly, it's a cheap and nasty battery anyway.

    • I've found mine to be perfect. It's a bit bigger than I expected but not ugly. Looks just like the picture. I can't see any need for a case, the metal shell should protect it.

    • http://www.everbuying.net/product1082012.html think this is the right one.

      • Thanks mate. its just 4.5 nzd. Cheap. Might get one soon. The metal body wil be dented if I drop it. And it's slippery to hold. If the case costs just 4 dollars, I might just get one.

        • +1

          No problem.

I've had 2 of the bigger, heavier, 16000 mAh models for a few years now, and had no problems at all. No dents or scratches, and had them with us for 6 months travelling, so definitely had plenty of opportunities to get damaged. No cover on ours, but it would be handy to protect the stuff around them more than the units themselves.

        • I got my "case" from eBay for under NZ$2. link here. Had my first one xiaomi 10000mah model for over a year now, dropped it few times and no damage! This 10000mah model is so much smaller than the old 10400mah model!
