Newegg NZ Credit Card Declined

Tried to order something from Newegg and send it to Youshop and got this after going through successful online payment NZ bank verification:
"Newegg - Payment Not Processed

Your order (Sales Order Number: xxxxxxxx) cannot be processed at this time due to an international credit card being used. All orders must have a verifiable billing address and issued by a local or national bank."

I have now three days to provide an alternative US based card.

I thought Newegg accepted NZ CC since there is NZ$ as an option for pricing.

What to do?

To answer myself: use PayPal. All's good now.

    • I'm in the same situation. Shipping an item to Youshop and order gets cancelled with my NZ credit card. Paypal also doesn't work however. I get error: We apologize that we are not able to authorize payment for your order now.

  • How does return shipping work if something goes wrong with youshop? just send it back via youshop? or is it buyers expense?
I suppose you get full warranty too which would be a bonus.

I purchased an msi gaming x nvidia 1060 for $399 kiwis, but on their nzd minisite. Great deal since the cheapest it is here for a low end card is around $460- and high end around $490. Arrived dead but that's okay newegg has paid for return shipping.

The nz site has some great deals,

    I purchase

    G-Skill ddr4 3000mhz $104
    z170 asrock extreme3 $182
    Shipping +40

And the 1060 on a separate order to keep it under $400.

Also about 2 years ago i tried to ship to youshop but they wouldn't accept the address :( gave up on them untill recently.

    • Some websites blacklist reshipping services, because simply, people use them so they don't have to use their own address (there's normally a reason for that, legal and illegal). As for returns, I would try contact the manufacturer directly, often you can send it to them for replacement/ repair (with proof of purchase), providing you say you purchased it while living over there and/or they will not accept a return from my [your] current address
