I've found living in NZ (Wellington) to be expensive compared to Australia - so was wondering how everyone else manages their expenses?
Let's do a poll - we are a family of 3 with a preschool child. I have excluded loan repayments or savings, but would like everything else
Please don't enter guesstimates - I want accurate average expenditure! (I use google sheets on google drive to track our family's expenses).
I used to follow Barefoot Investor a lot and he recommended 60/20/20 rule - 60 living, 20 spend, 20 save - comment if you can do this or struggle with expenses
