yeah, I imagine any semi-valuable stock will just be redistributed to other stores. When I worked at the Warehouse one summer we would routinely be sending slow moving stock to other stores and vice versa.

Might also be worth noting that the entire Downtown shopping mall is closing down 28 May. I just took a walk through the mall, and most stores are having heavy discount sales. Whitcoulls has 25% off everything, Bed Bath and Beyond, The Warehouse, among others.

Just visited the store earlier today. Here is what I found: 40% off Furniture, 50% off Writing Equipment, 20% off Printers, 40% off Computer Accessories, 30% off Computer Storage, 50% off Painting Equipment, 75% off selected yellow stickered items, 50% off all Star Wars Merchandise, etc. etc. Can't remember the others. Store is getting pretty empty. Oh The Warehouse next door is pretty much 50% off everything apart from few electronics.

haha, I don't think it's worth visiting unless you want to buy some stationeries. I think those are probably the best items on sale. I'll say around 60% of WS are empty, and 70% for The Warehouse.

Well spotted. If you happen to see any sweet deals there, feel free to put them in the OP for others to be aware of.
I do wonder, however, if it's a Dick Smith style sale, where you can get a paperclip for 10c and the rest of the store is 20% off.
