  • How long is the battery life?

    Is this the original Model or the latest? Had a quick look but couldn't find anything obvious.

      The positioning of the button looks different from Motorola's product page

      Original.

        Disappointing but still a good deal

          I'm still using my $130 G Watch R today, it's sweet.

        • @Shaw: I got a Pebble Time Steel which works great (I like the always on display and 10 day battery). Would get this but it only works on android.

        • @ClipIt:

          Is that always on in terms of always being able to tell the time, or always on in terms of seeing alerts and notification content? I generally get 2 - 3 days from my G watch, which is plenty enough for me.

          Don't personally like the screen on the pebble watches, always seemed kind of dull.

          Android Wear is compatible with apple phones from the newer versions - https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/android-wear/id986496028?mt=… Don't know why anyone would want to do such a terrible disservice to their watch though!

        • @Shaw: From what I read android wear for iOS only works with a few watches, probably not the first gen moto 360.

          @ClipIt:

          http://www.theverge.com/2015/8/31/9231701/moto-360-does-work… Depends on the software version, not the hardware. I had WiFi on my G watch long before LG allowed it by just flashing the Urbane software, which had it enabled, as both had the capability.

        • @Shaw:

          There's always the chance that Google could close this loophole

          Don't want to risk, my Pebbles fine anyway.

          @ClipIt:

          Fair call.

        • @ClipIt: nah all can use it, seemed like a lame ploy to get people to buy the newer versions when the feature was released, ios version dsnt have all the features tho

        • @quote: Thanks for that. I'll keep my pebble for the moment. Don't like the idea of charging my watch up everyday.

    Maybe you'd like to add the Kingston 8GB Class 4 MicroSD for $4.99 into this post (after the watch info). It is usually $17.99, so you save $13 in this sale. One of the moderators should be able to make the deal title longer to fit both deals in.

    Cheers, Mark.

      Thanks for that. I didn't even realise that this was a Blue Blitz deal. I know an employee at WHS who I've trained to contact when there's a bargain.

      • Good stuff! Yes it is a Blue Blitz deal, so I've added "Online Only" to your deal title. Cheers, Mark.

        • Blue Blitz deals are no longer online only. The Blue Blitz Page says in-store and online.

        • @ClipIt: Good spotting! Good for the shoppers too!
