SIM Card with 500MB Mobile Data + 50 Mins/100 Texts $4 @ The Warehouse Mobile

150

If you don't mind using throwaway SIM cards (e.g. You have a dual-SIM phone or a second phone) or if you have friends and family coming over to NZ, this seems to be the cheapest way to get 500mb mobile data and $2 preloaded credit (50 mins/100 texts) from The Warehouse Mobile. Deal expires 31 May 2016.

You can buy a few of these, activate one, throw it away once you use up all the data & credit, and then activate another.

  • They probably also work in 2degrees mobile broadband devices(t-stick etc) given they run on that network.

  • I wouldn`t get more than, it's only just cheaper than warehouse mobile's normal rates which are pretty good.

    • +1

The minimum top up is $10 once every 30 days though. Getting 500MB for $2 is an amazing deal, even if the standard rate is only 6c per MB. You would only otherwise get 33MB for $2. There is also the opportunity to get a Pick'nGo pack now. That's at a special price of $4 at the moment for 500MB, you would only otherwise get 66MB, but will be priced at $8 later on (otherwise 133MB).

      • With the pick and go packs is only two dollars more if you pay ten per month than the SIM price,a good deal but not an amazing deal.

  • So they don't expire till you activate them. Is there an expiry date to when you can activate them. Could be useful if you need additional cellphone numbers for offers that are limited to one per cellphone number.

    • I think may 31 is the expiry date of the deal, and any SIM cards not activated by then will lose the 500mb+$2 credit. These are regular Warehouse SIM cards, and the deal is added from the 'server-side'.

  • I bought 10. 5GB data for $40 is about as cheap as it gets

  • can you get this online?
