Just a PSA as I’ve noticed GPU scams once again becoming more common on Trademe in the past week or so. Especially sellers claiming to have Rtx 5090 and 4090 cards for much cheaper than retail.

They added an ai generated image as ‘proof’ and since calling them out have since removed it and significantly reduced buy now. Reported to Trademe, but they’re so slow to respond these days.
As painful as it is, nobody is going to be selling a 5090 below recent retail of $12k, let alone a rare FE edition. Dodgy profile is a giveaway, please don’t fall for this prick.
well the new TM account should be ringing all sorts of alarm bells there! also, why not in trade, sounds like they are selling volume (so they say).
