Is There a Service That Picks up/Packages and Sends Items That Are Pick up Only

Greetings

I am eyeing up some Garden tool skins that are second hand and for sale (ridiculously cheap) in Auckland and are pick-up only, (I have emailed the seller to see if they will package and send it my expense, but haven't heard back)

I am in the South Waikato so driving to pick up is a pain

I know buying second hand is a bit risky, but these will work with my existing batteries so I thought it was worth the risk.

think weed whacker, blower, and hedge trimmer

And also is there a courier tool that will work with larger packages? so i have a vauge idea of what it will cost as the courier post and NZ Couriers tools as even individually packaged (I am guessing the dimensions) these seem that they are too big for standard shipping.

Any help/ suggestions appreciated

    Airtasker NZ or Ezy Peazy, they're sort of general-purpose Taskrabbit kinds of services. Haven't used them, just heard they exist.

    To be honest it's going to be far cheaper to go and get them yourself no matter who you use.

    You can look for local "man with a van" services. A Waikato to Auckland pick-up service recently cost me $600 for a small van load. But this is all insured etc

    Facebook is your friend if you don't need any insurance coverage etc for what you are getting. Just ask on a local community page for someone willing to do it for whatever you are prepared to pay.

    For closer to home pick-ups use Op shops. These guys usually have small trucks and will do it for a donation.

    I once had a courier turn up for a "pick up only" item.
