  • Good deal, especially for the 900g nuggets.

Should also stack with the free express pickup on $50+ spend online on dinner items(from page linked below) with code DINNER
    https://www.woolworths.co.nz/shop/browse/dinner

I also have a new everydayrewards offer for 1000pts on $50 online spent too worth $7.50 so potentially free express pickup and 1000pts if you have $50 of dinner items to buy.

    • Same here (1000 points) + 400 points $20 vege/fruit + 500 points $30 fresh meat

      • yeah only 1/3 cards had it for us, the least used one

  • Thanks. I have a chest freezer and have stocked up about with 360$ worth at virtually half price. This should last many months.

Honestly one of the best investments ever. I buy meat and stuff on special is bulk and then either eat slowly, or make up heaps of portioned meals and put them in cheap takeout containers from gilmours, and freeze them. Also I've bought large joints from costco and cut up to freeze. Best money saving tip was spending $400 on a delivered chest freezer - thanks to advice on here.

So far its working out as i dont have to shop often.

    • We bought a chest freezer about twenty years ago - at the time it was, I think, $300 (not relevant in todays dollars of course).

My reckoning back then was that it paid back within about six months ;-)

We replaced it with an upright freezer a couple of years ago - massive mistake. It takes ages to find anything (I could completely empty the chest freezer from full in about three minutes if I wanted), plus you are restricted by the relatively small spaces as to what fits where.

I won't throw it out, but I will replace it with another chest freezer as soon as I can.
