Spark is offering a $900 discount over 24 or 36 months on the $78 plan. It’s not really worth it if you’re currently on a cheap prepaid plan.
Spark used to be the most expensive, but they now seem quite competitive. One NZ is now the most expensive. Hopefully the new CEO can turn that around.

I'd check the offers from the mobile providers, you might get a better deal overall like that but you'd need to calculate your own situation.
For example, when I was shopping for the iPhone Pro Max 15 I worked out that I was saving money over one year between a 2Degrees offer (phone + contracted plan for 12 months) and buying the phone outright and getting a cheap prepay plan.
