Disclosure: I built this. Solo, in NZ, over the last few months.
Bluebeam dropped its Mac client in 2019 and never brought it back. I’m a QS working on a Mac, so I built the PDF markup and takeoff app I wanted to use myself.
Founder price is US$19 one-off for the first 100 licences. Planned regular price is US$79. No subscription.
Blueprint for Mac is a native macOS app for PDF markup, measurement and takeoffs. Files stay on your machine — there’s no cloud account required.
It includes markup tools such as clouds, callouts, stamps and status markers, calibrated length/area/count takeoffs with CSV export, revision comparison, tabs, thumbnails, bookmarks, automatic links, batch tools, on-device OCR and multi-term PDF search.
The Founder Licence is a one-off purchase, can be used on two Macs, and includes updates throughout the 1.x release series.
This is the first public release and it’s already at v1.1.1 after a couple of early fixes.
The US$19 Founder price is available only for the first 100 licences. After that, the planned regular price is US$79.
