They would do instore. Grocery items are not price matched online mostly

Yes, I understand that part, but have just online chatted with the warehouse, they said as Ferrero is currently on sale at the warehouse for $10, so it cannot be price matched, and provided me with terms & condition “Products lowered in price cannot be combined with any other TWL or competitor’s promotion or credit offer…”. I'm confused, the deal is not to be combined, but simply price match only. Any ideas? Thanks!

No point arguing with them, some workers are just thick, and you can't win. Try another agent or another store, or wait for them to rotate their roles, etc.

You were absolutely right. Tried another person online, and she said price match would be fine. Gone to the store straight away and got some nice treats!

IMO that's irrelevant. If you were trying to use it with e.g. a BOGO deal or the $8 off $80 deals or their shareholder specials they the could deny that but it should be an either or. That said as a short dated deal even if it doesn't show on the website they could IMO deny it as a clearance deal given their terms.

They would have denied you with this term anyway for online sales
Grocery products and requests to match against grocery retailers can only be price matched instore and will not be price matched online.

I managed to price match in a different city. Just depends on the person doing it for you - for me they didn’t check that the store was in the same region, just wanted to make sure it wasn’t a screenshot. I also went near closing so they hardly looked which may have helped too.
