CD Projekt Red have just announced at Gamescom that the 2 expansions for Witcher 3 will be available free from today to owners of the base game. The 2 expansions are generally considered just as good if not better than the base game, they're also HUGE clocking in at around 50 hours JUST for the main story and side missions.
FREE remaster for owners of Witcher 3 releasing Sept 29
This new version of the game features an array of improvements, bringing upgrades to visuals, gameplay, and more. It will be available as a free upgrade to all owners of the game on GOG, Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It is also available for pre-purchase on Battle.net and Nintendo Switch 2 (and if you own The Witcher 3 on Nintendo Switch, you will be able to claim Remastered on Nintendo Switch 2 when it releases).
That’s not all, though! All current owners of the base game will gain access to the two original expansions – Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine – for free! Both of these expansions will also be included in Remastered base game!
