Probably the cheapest way to get dental care around, as it's the AUT dental hygiene school students in their final year. Anyone can go, don't need to be associated with AUT. Bear in mind they don't do fillings or more serious treatments, if you need that and still want it cheap, go to the Otago Dental School, also in Auckland.
Basically you pay once in the calendar year and can go for up to 5 standard cleaning and assessment appointments for that one low price. Any extra treatment is priced as below

OVERVIEW
Niho Ora ki Manukau (Oral Health Manukau) operates as a teaching clinic. Second and third-year AUT oral health students enrolled in the Bachelor of Health Science (Oral Health) provide oral health care supervised by experienced and registered oral health practitioners and strictly following Dental Council guidelines, standards and competencies.
As this is a student clinic, your treatment may take more than one appointment.
