  • 24.67 with cscbg premium! They are really stretching the margins πŸ˜…

  • Non-CSC price is $34.99 for those that can't be bothered logging out/ incognito.

  • What's the sound quality like? Wouldn't expect amazing but I've got used to quite a flat sound profile at home. Knsidering a cheapo ANC pair to leave plugged in at the office instead of the cheapo kz IEMs i currently sport there. The IEMz work great but in an open office don't quite assert the do not talk to me factor that you get with over ears.

    • Too tinny for music, fine for voice. I use them at the office and they're well-suited for it, comfortable enough for a few hours.

      • Fair enough, I have a pair of xm4 but not a fan of the bass and faffing getting them out to barely use them. People knew I was in a zone when I busted them out the other week.

I like my Philips shp-5000 at home but open back in an office will be a big no no.

      • How do you find the mic for calls? Wondering if it’s any good for meetings without picking up all the surrounding noise from other desks. Thanks for any insight!

        • The mic's audio sucks, I use headphone mode instead of headset mode and use the laptop's mic instead.

          • @Slogan: If you have a 3.5mm Jack you can get headset mics that plug in to the headphones jack for a few dollars on ali express. Sure it's a wire for making calls but the sound on them is better than the headphones mic.

        • You will never have good mic/audio quality if you don't have a boom mic and 2.4ghz wireless/wired. Bluetooth sucks for transferring both mic audio and your listening audio so it reduces each to one channel and sounds bad for everyone, unless you're spending hundreds on them (e.g. airpods are… reasonable… for being bluetooth) but even then it will still suck more than 2.4ghz.
A non-boom mic will pic up too much other noise in an office environment.

  • They look a bit like the Sony XM headphones.
    1/20th the price though, lol

    • Sony CH720N (about $165) is what I use at home these days. Above-average ANC, good audio for non-audiophiles, long battery life, and comfortably lightweight.

      • I have the same ones which i bought for a travel when i left my XM3 at home. I preferred the 720s due to weight, and use them now in the office as quality is above average and reduces neck strain.

Did get XM5 for travel going forward, though based on anc and controls.

  • You reckon they'd be ok for me Mum on a long haul flight - increase her chance of following the movie storyline?

    • Absolutely, airplane noise is one of the easiest things for any ANC to deal with. And any headphones you bring are a world better than the ones airlines supply. You just might need a plug adapter depending on the plane, though the majority have moved away from dual mono plug 3.5mm now and to the stand stereo 3.5mm

  • How can I see this lower price? I'm logged in, but it's still $34.

    • How to get CSC Membership
Choose CSCBG Main for this deal. You will need to log out and then log back in again for the membership to take effect once you have applied it.

      • Thanks, I have bought it at the lower price.

  • Never tried N.C headphones before, so thought I'd try out this offer to see. Nice Cheapies discount method too…. :)

  • (I'm still waiting for click and collect delivery by N.L to my chosen N.L store. And It's now showing O.O.S both online and in-store at most Auckland area stores…..πŸ€”).

  • For the money I will have to give them a AAA+ not in the same league as Sony but they are 10 times the price.
