2degrees $7 Per Month Price Increase

so I got an email from 2degrees sayig that my bill will go up $7 so I asked chat gpt to compare and make sure I had the best deal for my needs it said that my current offer even with $7 is very good but then gave me the script to send them an email to check if I was on the best deal and I might need to cancel amazon prime & then today they called me offered me same price & 3months free for 2yrs contract and everything stays the same, no switching, no disconnecting 2 years doesnt bother me it pays to ask

    yea $7 was for broadband & no big deal either but I managed to get something for nothing just by asking

    What’s your current price? And for what, mobile or broadband or both?

    A $7 a month increase on the $8 per month (prepay) mobile plan would be ridiculous.

    On the other hand, $7 a month on, say, $169 per month HyperFibre4 internet access would, for the most part, be no big deal.

    That's not much info provided. $7 increase from what amount? Like $1? What do you get with your plan?

    I'm currently using Mighty Mobile as my phone plan (I also have it for home internet, which is $33/month). I think around $20/month and I get unlimited text/calls/data. I think that's the cheapest I found out of all of them.

    That was for broadband my phone plan has stayed the same but bundled together also got $10 off
