Not really, I put it into AI slop and only India and one other country was cheaper. And that was with mighty ape’s $118 NZD, free delivery.

Japan and korea come in cheaper at like 105 nzd but that only their listed rrp, ours is 139, so theor full price is cheaper than our discount price. If ANY store has a discount then it blows ours away (but even no discount still cheaper)

As far as I can tell GTA VI is the only game they sell on their website, so I'm a little wary about buying from a retailer who doesn't traditionally sell games. They are a legit company, but I wouldn't pre-order it from pak n save if they had it for $106, either.

Hmm. I can add the code and it applies the discount, but as soon as you enter an email address it disables the coupon. (any random email causes it to be removed). I've tried across a couple devices/private windows etc.

Insane hype for this, there's a black hole of releases around this game i'm gonna guess 50% of xbox/ps5 gamers gonna hit this up.
I have a $20 voucher for NL so will be preordering from them but holding off for a week to see whats happening with a disk version.
Hollywood Reporter put out an article where a verified insider said there are no plans for a disc edition at this time.
It certainly won't come any time before release and definitely not in the next week because that'd cause an even bigger controversy and hassle with retailers likely needing to refund tens of millions of pre-orders for the code version.
And as a heads up, all the retailers are putting the price back up to $140 today/tomorrow. So you can either get the game for $99 with your voucher today, or $119 with your voucher a week from now.

That's pretty big, where did they info come from? Lots of people will be wanting to get in before they happens.
This craziness all started because The Warehouse dropped the price to $119. There's no chance any retailer is making any money on the game at that price (probably a loss, even), and The Warehouse said the price goes back to normal at midnight tonight.
I don't know why the Warehouse would've chosen to do this. Maybe they had money left in the marketing budget and figured they could also force their competitors to soak up hefty losses on it.
Other retailers may or may not lift their prices tonight, but either way I wouldn't gamble on it remaining this cheap for long.
Oh well, I'll take it. That $140 price online was a shock, but $120 is much more palatable.

Can you upgrade to Ultimate from a physical copy? Half the base game is locked behind the paywall, so Ultimate is the best version you can get (most complete)
yes there is an upgrade on the store for the ultimate edition. physical + upgrade seems like the best way to go
