[On Order] Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 $237.98 + Shipping ($0 C&C) @ PB Tech (Pricematch at The Warehouse)

20

Just purchased an Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller for a discounted price of $237.98 (rrp $300) from The Warehouse via a price match from PB Tech.

PB Tech seems to be sold out and their next order is dated for 21 August, but there's still stock showing at the Warehouse.

Overall a pretty solid controller IMO. People have reported issues with stick drift and dodgy paddles but me personally, I've got easily 5+ plus solid years out of mine (buying this one as gift).

  • Love the standard Xbox controllers, they are my preferred controller when playing on PC, I'd use them on the PS5 if I could, and this is coming from someone who owns a Dualsense Edge, I find them that good and comfortable to use. The Elites are in my opinion absolutely terrible. If they work 100% out of the box, and that's a big if, but if they do then enjoy it while it lasts, because as someone on Reddit replied to a person who was asking if Elite 2 controllers are really as bad as people say they are "It’s the single best controller you will ever have for 6 months."

    • I got mine for 200 judt after they 1st came out and its lasted well, if it broke 2mro id buy another (actually id buy the core edition)

  • If you are splashing this much on an xbox controller, you might consider getting one with hall effect modules in the analog sticks as theoretically, they will last longer because they have no or lesser parts that are making contact against each other. I had 2 standard xbox controllers develop stick drift in the span of 4 years and I believe this one has the same stick modules as the standard xbox controllers.

  • Get a gamesir with hall effect sticks for a quarter or a third of the price.

  • Get a cheaper and better controller from aliexpress. Most of the controllers are xbox layout.

  • damn these are $300?

i have been through 6 of these controllers. I bought them for low 200s when the series x/series s came out. Used exclusively for FPS. Like other commentors there is issues - drift, bumpers not registering.

Every time i was able to put through an RMA claim on the controller as it broke within 1 year. But everytime i would just get a refurbished controller that eventually would have the same issue. I don't game anymore but these controllers are the best if you can continue getting new ones lol.
