  • Anyone looking at this, if you're in the market for a personal-type blender then I just picked this one up : https://www.briscoes.co.nz/product/1132905/nutribullet-flex-…

Comes with a bit of a bundle from radix.. and also a bonus.. $150 credit with Radix which is claimed through the website. I only just got it today so I can't vouch for the quality but it seems to rate well against others of the same type. And it's super value with the extra $150 credit of Radix Nutrition.

Seems to be sold out in a number of places , so it's obviously a popular deal.

    • That seems like a deal worthy of its own post

    • Note the $150 is in portions.
      $50 off, then $25.
Only for smoothie saches, and cheapest is $75

I got the Nutribullet SmartSense Blender Combo, 10% price beat, $188 at Noel leeming, and had a $20 off briscoes coupon

      • Oh right, okay, thanks for the heads up on that. I haven't gotten around to looking up how that worked.

  • This thing struggles with frozen fruit. I think it didn't work that well with bigger pieces of apple either.

    • Yeah .. I don't think many of these portable-type blenders do well with ice or large frozen berries like strawberries. The cups tend to be smaller as well do the blades. Smaller berries like Boysenberries, blackberries, raspberries etc would probably be okay though. I think the biggest market for these are more for protein shakes or the meal replacement shakes. For that type of thing, they're perfect.

      • What's wrong with just, you know, shaking a bottle?

Disposable appliances like this are so bad

        • Of course that works to a point but you don't get the same consistency of shake when you have whole ice cubes. But.. if you want your drink "on the rocks" then yeah sure.. that works!

          • @ScoobyNZ: These aren't going to be crushing ice though
