This is a bargain! It was $299 USD in 1979. Works out to be approximately $1,300usd ($2,200nzd) adjusted for inflation.
In the 80s I had a 2600 jr and a friend had an intellivision. We would swap consoles back and forth. I liked the 2600 more. I was then lucky enough to move to the Megadrive when it came out.- 1
