Mighty Ape also has it at $81 if you have primate.
No free shipping though, so this is slightly cheaper if you do C&C
Tempting… One of my two controllers has just started getting stick drift after having it for 2 years
2 years is pretty good I've found. Think it depends on how much R3 the games need
Got stick drift on two controllers within a year… I take good care of mine too and don't play as often as others since I'm mostly PC.. Got TMRs installed and been going strong for a couple years now.
Easy to install?
not sure I paid someone to do it after seeing my friend burn his board trying to DIY lol
I had one too that I probably used two dozen times ever max, that got stick drift. I bought an xbox controller now and I can feel it's built so much better.

If you want to see how bad it really it. Don't be surprised to find both sticks have drift (even if it's not super obvious)
And run any new controller you get through it. Because I have found more than one new one that already has a few degrees of drift from out of the box.
It's actually not that hard, and very cheap, to replace the whole stick component for a better aftermarket one. With the catch being you really need a hot air/rework station (cause there is 5-6 solder points that need to be pulled out at the same time)
Or just get an xbox one and save the time/money if you're on PC anyway.
Nice one OP - was considering last week when they were $110 … :)
JB Hi-Fi also have them at $85 each, with the techno range for an extra $10.
