Briscoes 50% Sale, also Sodastream Gas Refills in their regular sales?

Any idea when we'll next get a Briscoes 50%? Unless I missed one, and it doesn't seem to be recorded here either, it's been September since Briscoes last did a 50% sale which is quite long since they've often done ~3 or so a year. E.g. 2025 they did one in January https://www.cheapies.nz/node/50077 and 2024 in April https://www.cheapies.nz/node/46309 .

They seem to often do one in July which makes me wonder if we're going to have to wait until then. AFAIK they're often away from the long weekends so doubt it will be next weekend.

Also can anyone confirm if there's any chance to get Sodastream gas refills at Briscoes at a cheaper price than 20% off other than hopefully we still can at their 50%? E.g. are they 40% this weekend? My guess is no but it's annoying since you have to go in store (or I guess call) to check.

Since even for new gas cylinders, price is generally online only on their website so doesn't show the discount even during their 50%. Interesting they're only excluding gas in their T&C now whereas i thought they used to exclude all SodaStream.

Edit: Actually just noticed that weirdly on their current sale the new regular cylinders are 40% off even if the new quick connect ones are not. So maybe the refills are on discount or at least the regular ones.

Partly answering my own question, can confirm the regular cylinder refills were $16.20 or 40% off. Also new cylinders were $27.60 in store as online. Possibly this is common at their 40% sales even if the T&C allows exclusion, not sure. Also don't know about the Quick Comnect but expect they're the same online exclusion is just weirdness with online.

For new cylinders price matching at Mitre 10 would be better barring some coupons at Briscoes. Trouble is they'll probably reject it due to the online only saying it needs to be at a store or available for immediate click and collect. Mine did. Because Briscoes now uses electronic price labels in store, you or someone probably could go to a store and take a photo and convince them from that but is a bit of effort. For refills as discussed on 50% sales it's difficult since the price isn't shown anywhere. Maybe you or someone could buy one and then shown the receipt to Mitte10 but never seen anyone try. In theory they can deny it IMO since they could argue it's effectively a service.
