    • Do you know how much is 5000 points in NZD?

  • So the reduced many of the benefits/rewards of the card and lost a bunch of customers and now trying to lure people in

  • Can't figure out what points are worth

If I spend 1k on amex I get 10 airpoints.

Is this better than that? I get you do get travel insurance thrown in though which is good.

    • No, worse actually. $1k spend gives you 1,670 points = 1670/200*$.94= $7.849. You have to pay annual fees but as you've noted, it comes with complimentary travel insurance.
