  Agree $488 would be a great price for decent 40" FHD TV, but it should be noted that this Sony TV is much higher quality than other TVs we've seen under $700 of similar size and has some good features:
  
  Built-in WIFI
  Netflix
  Freeview plus built-in
  
  Sony website has the RRP at $1100

    From my experience the Sony smart TVs (or any 'smart' TV, maybe except the Android powered ones) are very much overrated. A Chromecast does a much better job and I hardly ever used any of the smart functions.
